Our mission is to provide expert tutoring that cultivates intellectual curiosity as well as an excitement for learning about the world around us, both of which will facilitate academic success. We are passionate about helping students who are new to science and would love to help you succeed during this challenging year.
In addition to Chemistry, we also tutor middle school math and science, social sciences, and study skills.

Dr. Mel is passionate about chemistry and has been excited to teach and tutor it for nearly 15 years!
Dr. Mel (Melody Walter) is an award winning instructor, teacher, and tutor of chemistry at all levels. She received her B.S. in Chemistry from Emory University, a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Georgia, and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has published works in scientific journals such as the Journal of the American Chemical Society and created high school-collegiate research partnerships for young learners. Her enthusiasm for chemistry education is obvious to all who meet her!
Dr. Mel lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband and son. She enjoys hiking, cooking, and yoga.
